One shared story world, animated block by block

Each child builds their own avatar and house; the groups become neighborhoods of one shared city, growing session by session on the same digital whiteboard.

  1. The True Name and the house

    Digital awareness and construction of the avatar, first on paper and then on the digital whiteboard.

  2. The network and the shared world

    4h

    Networks, data, privacy and security, with the composition of the collective plan.

  3. The broken transmission

    4h

    Team activity on routing, reassembly and verification of a transmission split into packets.

  4. Animating the world

    4h

    Translation of the designed environment into animation through block programming.

  5. Memory, choice and repair

    4h

    Introduction of variables and conditions for memory and reaction to events.

  6. Giving the tool its context

    4h

    Completion of the work with the assisted generation tool, under the group's direction.

  7. Curating and editing

    4h

    Selection and reworking of the generated material, with the final edit.

  8. The Premiere

    2h

    Screening of the works and observation of the settlement as a single representation.

The outcome

An animated short film per group, screened on the final day.
